"What a wonderful experience! The class was hesitant to participate at first and appeared to be trying to maintain a "tough" and disinterested facade. However, once they realized that the discussion related to real life situations and that we wanted them to talk to us, even the most reticent children began participating. By the end we were having a really spirited discussion about constitutional rights with kids that, I get the feeling, don't open up to much in class. All in all alot of fun."

INFORMATION FOR JUSTICE TEACHING VOLUNTEERS
PLEASE review the list of INSTRUCTIONS FOR VOLUNTEERS to determine your responsibilities as a JUSTICE TEACHING VOLUNTEER.
The JUSTICE TEACHING WEB APPLICATION allows you to register for the program, update information, change schools, and document school visits. Volunteers log in using their Florida Bar Number. Information regarding their school assignment, training status and school visits will be tracked.
The Administrative Order signed by Chief Justice Lewis appoints Local Contacts for each judicial circuit. Volunteers are encouraged to CONTACT YOUR LOCAL JUSTICE TEACHING REPRESENTATIVE for localized training and program coordination.
Florida Bar members may receive general continuing legal education credit for attending a Justice Teaching volunteer training session on an hour-by-hour basis (program lengths may vary).
